The new downtown, a representative center of Bratislava, emerging between the Mlynské nivy district and the Danube River, is exceptional not only due to its top architecture and location, but also due to the quality and comfort of residential housing. From the visualizations of the METROPOLIS project, which were created by the STOPKA design studio, the generous potential of the living space can be seen. The purposefully furnished interiors look elegant, pleasantly combine modernism and minimalism, and are suitable for everyday family and social life.
The designers considered the dispositions of the housing unit from an aesthetic and practical point of view, they would meet the expectations of the demanding clientele of the Metropolis project. The inspiration was mainly by designers of Italian and German brands, with whom the studio cooperates. He played the Italian sense of composition, detail, combination of materials and shapes with an emphasis on maintaining the functionality of the premises.
Of the brands that were used in the furnishing of the virtual apartment, the dominant is the Portuguese brand Boca do Lobo. The individual pieces of furniture of this brand are more reminiscent of works of art by Italian masters. Every single piece is original, worthy of an exceptional place. "If such a piece is placed in the interior as a solitaire, such as a mirror, chest of drawers or a dining table, it will make the overall look of the apartment special and give it an artistic soul," says Aneta Vazačová from the STOPKA interior studio and adds - “The refined Rimadesio glass wardrobes, which are used mainly in the hallway, bedroom and study, are certainly not to be overlooked. The SLX SieMatic Pure kitchen unit deserves a special mention, which is interesting thanks to the glass cabinets and the line LED backlight. ”
The key for to choosing the color scheme of the interiors, was the structure of the Metropolis facade, designed in natural tones, which why the creators enforced neutral and earthy tones of furniture and floors. For the most part, shades of beige, coffee, soft gray are used, which in combination with the warm tones of solid wood create an overall soothing composition.
